Your Brief

/brief is a single mobile-first screen built for a quick daily check-in — the screen an installed CMDash app opens to (see "Install CMDash as an app" below), rather than the wider Dashboard, which is built for a larger screen and a longer session.

What Is on the Brief

Today's Posture Score The current score and letter grade, with the move since yesterday's snapshot shown directly underneath (for example, "↓ 3.0 pts since yesterday"). Tap the card to open the full Posture view.

Biggest Changes Since Yesterday Up to three signals — the ones that moved the most since yesterday's snapshot, ranked by size of the move. A signal that appears here for the first time (a newly connected integration) is labelled "new" rather than shown as a jump from zero.

My Tasks Your own open remediation tasks, ordered by due date so the most urgent is always first. Tap "View all" to open the full queue on My Work.

Needs Your Approval Any exception request waiting on a decision, with a one-tap Approve button for OWNER/ADMIN members (the same rule the Exceptions page enforces: an OWNER/ADMIN cannot approve their own request). Approving here uses the exact same action as the Exceptions page — nothing new is introduced, just a faster path to it from the daily screen.

Overdue Remediations How many of your workspace's remediation tasks are past their due date, with the three most overdue named and how many days late each is (an "under a day overdue" task shows as that, not as zero). It counts the same tasks the Overdue Remediations alert metric counts: open and in-progress tasks across the whole workspace, not only yours. A task awaiting verification is not in the count. If the count cannot be read at that moment, the section says so and links to Remediations instead of showing zero. A member without access to Remediations sees the count but not the task titles. To be told when a task slips, open Alert Rules: while no rule on that metric exists, the page offers a ready-made one (Overdue Remediations greater than 0) that opens pre-filled for review, and you choose its channels before it is created.

Install CMDash as an App

CMDash is a Progressive Web App. When installed to a phone's home screen, launching it opens directly to /brief rather than the marketing site or the wider Dashboard — the idea is that the app you open every morning should answer "what changed, and what do I need to do" in one glance, without a scroll.

Push Notifications on a Posture Drop

If push notifications are enabled (Settings → Notifications), a drop of 3 or more points in your posture score since yesterday sends a push notification pointing back at /brief. This is separate from the regular daily brief email/notification, so a meaningful regression reaches a phone even on a day the daily digest is snoozed or disabled. It fires at most once per day.
