Self-Update

Purpose: check for and apply CMDash version updates.

This has its own complete, current guide — see Updating CMDash — which covers the three deployment shapes (hosted, self-hosted with the updater, self-hosted without it), how to check for a new version at Settings → Updates, and what happens when a release needs a database migration. This page is a pointer, not a duplicate: the content lives there so there is exactly one place to keep it current.

Access: Settings → Updates is Owner/Admin only.
