PS-5 Personnel transfer

FedRAMP Moderate · Rev 5

a. Review and confirm ongoing operational need for current logical and physical access authorizations to systems and facilities when individuals are reassigned or transferred to other positions within the organization; b. Initiate [transfer or reassignment actions] within [time period following the formal transfer action]; c. Modify access authorization as needed to correspond with any changes in operational need due to reassignment or transfer; and d. Notify [personnel or roles] within [time period].

Quoted verbatim from NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 (OSCAL catalog), which is in the public domain.

No cross-framework mapping is seeded for this control. That is stated rather than filled in: a mapping nobody authored is worse than a gap you can see.

These connectors produce data relevant to FedRAMP Moderate’s Personnel Security family, which is the granularity CMDash publishes — there is no pre-built per-control mapping, and claiming one would be inventing it. You decide which evidence answers which control.

Track PS-5 with evidence behind it

In CMDash this control is a row with an owner, a status, uploaded evidence kept with its full history, and an export an assessor can read.
